About Course
How can you transform your classes into spaces for active learning? In this course you will discover how to integrate key strategies such as cooperative learning, experiential learning, critical and creative thinking, and maker culture. You will learn how to design activities that engage your students in real experiences and foster reflection, creativity, and collaboration.
At the end, you will apply everything you have learned in a real project, designing teaching proposals that turn your classroom into a dynamic, participatory space centered on deep learning.

Experiential Learning
What would happen if your students learned by doing something that leaves a lasting mark?
In this phase, you will discover how to plan authentic experiences where knowledge connects with life.
We will explore experiential learning through Understanding Projects, in which students investigate, act, reflect, and create meaningful products.
You will see examples, methodological variations, and learn how to design your own projects step by step.

Cooperative Learning
Have you ever wondered whether your students really learn more and better when they work together?
In this phase, we invite you to discover cooperative learning as a strategy to activate the thinking, participation, and commitment of all your students.
We will explore the five essential elements that make it truly effective, and you will discover how to design cooperative experiences that go beyond simply “group work,” fostering real, structured, and meaningful collaboration.
By the end, you will be able to plan cooperative activities that also adapt to personalized and self-directed learning contexts.

Critical and Creative Thinking
Would you like your students to be more reflective, analytical, and creative when they learn?
In this phase, you will discover how to develop critical and creative thinking in the classroom through a culture that makes it visible, everyday, and meaningful.
We will explore the conditions needed to generate a culture of thinking, the use of routines that activate reflection, and the integration of thinking skills directly into the curriculum.
By the end, you will be able to design classes where your students not only learn content, but also learn to think better… and above all, about their own thinking.

Maker Culture
What if your students could learn better by building, designing, and solving real problems with their own hands?
In this phase, we invite you to discover maker culture as a powerful way to activate learning through creativity, experimentation, and purposeful making.
We will explore its fundamental principles — creating, innovating, sharing, playing, participating, and changing — and how to bring them into the classroom through activities and projects that connect the curriculum with real life.
By the end, you will be able to plan active learning experiences where your students think by doing, transform ideas into concrete products, and develop essential skills for the present… and for the future.

Classroom Application
Now it is your turn. In this final phase, we invite you to bring together everything you have learned throughout the course and take a concrete step toward transforming your classroom.
Throughout these weeks, you have explored active methodologies such as cooperative learning, experiential learning, critical and creative thinking, and maker culture. They all share the same purpose: placing the student at the center of learning and turning the school into a dynamic, collaborative, and meaningful space.
This is the moment to apply what you have learned to your educational context in a flexible and contextualized way, taking what resonates most with you from each approach.
This is an optional activity, but it is highly recommended. If you decide to complete and share it, you will have the opportunity to obtain the final course certificate, which recognizes your commitment to more active, deeper, and more meaningful teaching.
